I’ve been drawing and painting most of my life, although the art posted on this blog all dates from after 2006, when I left school. From 2006-2009 I studied biology at Oxford, which helped me appreciate the amazing diversity of life and inspired me to draw animals other than dogs and horses. I have also been lucky enough to travel and work in some amazing places, including Senegal, Borneo, and most recently Tanzania which has influenced my artwork (for example see the pen and ink drawing of Impala).
I currently work full time in publishing, but draw and paint as much as I can in my spare time. You may notice that I don’t tend to write much in my posts (perhaps somewhat ironically, seeing as I work in publishing)- I try to let the art speak for itself. However please feel free to comment if you have any queries.
I’d like to thank Matt Roberts for helping me set up this blog.
